Hi, I’m Nicole, I'm also known on the world wide web as the axe-wielding, tree-climbing, maple syrup-chugging, lesbian woodchopper. Somehow millions of people across social media to watch me swing sharp objects at wood and occasionally talk about nature. 

When I’m not entertaining the masses with my questionable life choices, I’m trying to get people to step into the woods—preferably without getting lost—and making a case for environmental sustainability.

I’m also pretty involved in my local community, working on projects that connect people to their ecosystems. Sometimes that means helping protect our natural spaces; other times, it’s just reminding folks that the outdoors is way more fun than doom scrolling for hours on end (it’s okay though, we’ve all been there) 

When I’m not chopping wood at the community pit or running workshops to teach people how to survive without Wi-Fi, I’m probably road-tripping through the coastal towns and mountains of British Columbia with my trusty sidekick, Bambi, who is infinitely cooler and more photogenic than me.
